Weekly plan

Our weekly plan is displayed on the outside noticeboard. Here you can see some of the activities the children have been engaged in, and also how we plan based on their interests and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

We also use an online communication platform - Kindyhub. This is a secure web-based software that enables us as educators to enhance communication with parents, highlighting children's learning outcomes. Program goals are also set here, and implementation of both teaching and learning are recorded via reports and photographs.

Parent Helper Roster

A roster sheet is placed at the sign-in area to request help from parents during our morning session or for bush kinder. This is a nice way to observe your child playing in the kinder environment. All parents who would like to take part as a parent helper will need an up-to-date Working with Children Check. These can be applied for here.

Student's siblings are welcome during this time in the kinder (not at bush kinder unfortunately), as long as you are mindful that they are your responsibility. We love to see families come into the kinder to help out. Don't fret about remembering what needs to be done, as there is a list in the kitchen explaining parent helper duties, and staff will direct and assist you.

Please remember that when you are on duty, you must sign the "visitor's book".
